29th Street Capital Expands to Seniors Housing, Hires Erik Kolacinski to Lead New Group

ATLANTA — 29thStreet Capital, a privately-held real estate investment and advisory firm based in Atlanta that focuses on value-add opportunities, has announced its plans to expand its services to the seniors housing industry.

The company has hired Erik Kolacinski as senior vice president of senior housing to lead the new group. Kolacinski will be responsible for all facets of the firm’s activity within the seniors housing sector, focusing on acquisitions and asset management across the country.

Kolacinski has over 22 years of experience in seniors housing and post-acute healthcare services. During his most recent position as senior vice president at US CareNet Inc., he lead multiple teams delivering a wide range of senior living services. He has also served as managing principal of Pinnacle Rehab Solutions and held a senior leadership position at CareSouth Health System Inc. 

In addition to sourcing and completing acquisitions, Kolacinski’s responsibilities will involve overseeing third-party management selection, supervising all capital projects, making marketing and design decisions, and working toward eventual dispositions.

Kolacinski earned a bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in economics from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
