ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The Assisted Living Federation of America has elected John Moore and William Pettit Jr. to its board of directors.
Moore is founder, chairman and CEO of Kentucky-based operator Atria Senior Living. Pettit is president and CEO of Seattle-based operator Merrill Gardens.
“We welcome these senior living innovators and look forward to embracing their skills and ideas as we continue to build a trade association well-equipped to address the future needs of older adults and our members who serve them,” says James Balda, ALFA’s president and CEO.
Atria Senior Living operates 154 senior living communities in 28 states. Merrill Gardens operates 31 senior living communities in six states.
