OMAHA, Neb. — Steve Case, founder of AOL and now CEO of investment firm Revolution LLC, has agreed to make a $100,000 equity investment in seniors housing technology company LifeLoop.

The investment comes following a “Rise of the Rest” competition in Lincoln, where 100 companies pitched their businesses to Case and a panel of judges. Omaha-based LifeLoop, which bills itself as “a lifestyle management and resident engagement application for senior living communities,” came out as the winner of the $100,000 investment.

Case cited the “size of the [seniors housing] market and need” for such products in his announcement, according to the Lincoln Journal Star
