BE AIRE, Kansas — Ascension Senior Living and the Catholic Diocese of Wichita has hired Cindy LaFleur as executive director of the Catholic Care Center in the Wichita suburb of Bel Aire.
LaFleur will manage all aspects of the day-to-day management of the largest continuing care retirement community in the region. Catholic Care Center offers independent living, assisted living, memory care, adult day care, long-term care, post-acute care and home care services.
The Catholic Care Center is a 50/50 joint venture between Ascension Senior Living, a nonprofit providers of senior living programs and services, and the Catholic Diocese of Wichita. Ascension manages the community.
LaFleur joins Ascension Senior Living after 20 years with Via Christi Health where she was most recently the senior administrator of post-acute care. She has also served as president of Via Christi Rehabilitation Hospital.
Previously, she held a variety of positions at Via Christi Hospital St. Joseph in Wichita.
