SHENANDOAH, Texas — Luxury seniors housing developer Avanti Senior Living has hired two new hires for Avanti Senior Living at Vision Park, a new community in Shenandoah north of Houston. The community is under construction and scheduled to open in spring of 2016.
Angela Copeland has been named senior executive director of the community, while Jeanette McMackin has been named community relations director.
Copeland will be responsible for daily operations of the community. She will oversee resident care, maintain health codes and regulations, make managerial decisions, provide leadership for fellow team members and help family. Previously, Copeland was executive director for four other senior living communities. She graduated from Lee College with an associate of applied science degree in business management.
Prior to joining Avanti, McMackin served in sales and marketing positions at other senior living communities and hospitals for more than 20 years. She graduated from Temple College with an associate of applied science degree in respiratory care.
