Avison Young Hires Dan Baker as Vice President

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Avison Young, a real estate services firm based in Toronto, has hired Dan Baker as a vice president in the company’s Washington, D.C. office.

Baker will focus exclusively on seniors housing and skilled nursing investment sales and capital markets nationwide.

Before joining Avison Young, Baker was a senior associate with the CBRE Senior Housing Group where he participated in over $2 billion in transactions since 2011. His previous experience in seniors housing includes working at the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing and Care (NIC) and for an operator.

Baker has a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University and a master’s degree in real estate from Johns Hopkins University.
