WALTHAM, Mass. — Benchmark Senior Living, a Waltham-based owner-operator, has hired Jerry Kemper as senior vice president and chief financial officer.
As CFO, Kemper is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including financial planning, analysis, accounting and financial reporting, as well as managing the tax, internal audit, treasury and investor relations functions.
Kemper joins Benchmark from Kindred Healthcare where he was held the same positions with the company’s skilled nursing division. Kindred sold off its entire skilled nursing business in 2017 to focus on other parts of its business, such as home care and hospice.
Previously, Kemper was an officer for ADDIT LLC and served as vice president of finance for Genesis Healthcare for 11 years.
Kemper received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park.
