Blueprint Negotiates Sale of Two Communities in Kansas

by Jeff Shaw

FREDONIA, Kansas — Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors has arranged the sale of two seniors housing communities in southeast Kansas for an undisclosed price.

One of the properties was Vintage Park at Fredonia in Fredonia. The other property was not disclosed. The portfolio totals 49 units of assisted living and memory care.

A joint venture between a publicly traded REIT and a private equity firm sold the properties as part of a plan to divest non-core assets. The buyer was a local owner-operator seeking to grow its footprint in Kansas.

Ben Firestone and Jacob Gehl of Blueprint sourced the buyer, while Michael Segal led the negotiations.
