Capitol Seniors Housing Opens $25M Assisted Living Community in New Jersey

MOUNTAINSIDE, N.J. — Capitol Seniors Housing, a D.C.-based investment and development firm, has opened Arbor Terrace Mountainside, an assisted living and memory care community in Mountainside, approximately 30 miles southwest of Manhattan.

The 68,000-square-foot community features 9 units. Development costs were estimated at $25 million.

The Arbor Company will operate the community. Meyer Senior Living Studio designed the property.

In addition to Arbor Terrace Mountainside, Capitol Senior Housing has other holdings in New Jersey, including the newly opened Atria Norwood, as well as Arbor Terrace Morris Plains and The Chelsea at the Solana Marlboro. The company is currently constructing two other senior living communities in New Jersey, Arbor Terrace Mount Laurel and The Chelsea at Shrewsbury.
