Charter Senior Living Promotes Maura Feaheny to Vice President of Development, Strategy

CHICAGO — Charter Senior Living, a Chicago-based operator, has promoted Maura Feaheny as vice president of development and strategy. She joined the company as corporate director of integration and project manager in late 2018.

Feaheny brings executive leadership experience in commercial real estate development, seniors housing plant operations and capital management. Her experiences as an independent consultant and as a corporate employee extend from ground-up development to existing building operations management.

Feaheny recently served as vice president of plant operations for Senior Lifestyle Corp., where she managed a team of four regional directors and had oversight management responsibility for 187 seniors housing communities. She first joined that company in 2013 and was promoted twice in her first two years. 

Feaheny earned her M.B.A. with a concentration in finance and strategy from Booth School of Business at The University of Chicago. She earned her bachelor’s degree in architecture from The University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana. 

Charter manages 12 senior living communities throughout the United States.
