Cushman & Wakefield Brokers $27.5M Sale of 223-Unit Community in Florida

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the sale of Glenmoor, a 223-unit seniors housing community in St. Augustine, approximately 40 miles south of Jacksonville.

Life Care St. John’s Inc. sold the property to Westminster Communities of Florida for $27.5 million. The new owner will rename the property Westminster St. Augustine.

The community is located in the World Golf Village, a golf-focused, master-planned community. It was built in 2001 on a 40-acre plot. The property features 87 cottage homes, 70 independent living apartments, 36 assisted living units and 30 skilled nursing units.

Based in Cushman & Wakefield’s Tampa office, Allen McMurtry, Paul Carr, David Kliewer and Megan Fetter represented the seller in the deal.
