Drever Plans 213-Unit Active Adult Community Near San Antonio

LIVE OAK, Texas — Drever Capital Management has announced plans for Larkspur at Live Oak, a 213-unit age-restricted community in the San Antonio suburb of Live Oak.

Drever, which specializes in workforce housing aimed at middle-income residents, plans to break ground in late 2017 for delivery in early 2019. The property will target Baby Boomers just entering their retirement years.

Larkspur at Live Oak will be a four-story, Class A community located on 15 acres. Dallas-based Merriman Anderson/Architects designed the project.

A 64-unit Windsong Montessori-inspired memory care community is also being planned as a separate facility within the development. This will allow couples to stay near to each other if one needs memory support. Also planned is an intergenerational adult and child daycare center that will encourage interaction between seniors and children.
