WINNEBAGO, Ill. — Evans Senior Investments (ESI) has arranged the sale of Prairie View Assisted Living, a 30-unit assisted living community in the Northern Illinois village of Winnebago.
A publicly traded REIT acquired the property in a sale-leaseback transaction with an independent owner-operator for $4 million. Prairie View will now be part of the operator’s master lease with the REIT, which already included several other properties.
Built in 2007, Prairie View Assisted Living is located 95 miles northwest of Chicago and 65 miles south of Madison, Wis. At time of sale, the community averaged 97 percent occupancy and was fully private pay.
