FutureCare Opens $30M Skilled Nursing Facility Near Washington, D.C.

LANDOVER, Md. — FutureCare has opened FutureCare Capital Region, a 150-bed skilled nursing facility in the Washington, D.C. suburb of Landover.

Development costs were estimated at $30 million. This is the first new, freestanding skilled nursing facility in Prince George’s County in over 20 years, according to FutureCare.

The property is located adjacent to the new University of Maryland Capital Region Health hospital. The facility includes 84 private rooms, 34 semi-private rooms, a 4,500-square-foot rehabilitation center and a nine-seat dialysis center.
