PEORIA, Ill. — Good Neighbor Care — current operator of the Grand Victorian of Pekin and the Grand Victorian of Washington — plans to develop a new senior living community in North Peoria near Orange Prairie with Wilkinson Development LLC.
The planned community will offer independent living, assisted living and memory care apartments, with easy access to medical facilities as well as shopping, dining, entertainment and hotels near The Shoppes at Grand Prairie Mall.
Good Neighbor is a nationwide operator of seniors housing communities with a long history in the state of Illinois. Wilkinson is a full-service commercial development group, specializing in custom-built senior living properties tailored for local residents.
North Peoria is one of several Midwest markets Wilkinson Development and Good Neighbor targeted for expansion this year. Wilkinson is the co-developer of the Grand Victorian senior housing communities in Pekin, Wash., and Sterling, Ill.
