WINTER PARK, Fla. — Holiday Retirement has hired Sara Kyle as director of resident experience.
Based in Winter Park, Holiday is the largest owner-operator of independent living communities in the U.S.
Kyle has more than 10 years of experience creating wellness programs and initiatives to help older people live better. Before joining Holiday, she was employed by Senior Care Centers in Dallas, where she oversaw resident wellness activities and developed programs to improve quality of life as director of resident wellness. Kyle also served on the faculty for more than a decade at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas, where she taught kinesiology and education.
Kyle will work with Bill Thomas, Holiday’s chief wellness officer, to develop resident programs.
Kyle received a doctorate in kinesiology from Texas Woman’s University, as well as a master’s degree in sport and recreation management and a bachelor’s in exercise science, both from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas.
