BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — HumanGood has hired Rochelle Balaban as the executive director of Rosewood, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Bakersfield.

Balaban brings more than 20 years of senior living experience to Bakersfield, mostly at HumanGood sister communities in San Diego County.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a master’s degree in aging service management from the USC School of Gerontology, she started her career at White Sands La Jolla as a registered nurse.
