Isakson Living Opens Household Model for Memory Care Community at CCRC Near Atlanta

by Jeff Shaw

STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — Isakson Living has opened Park Springs Health Services in the Atlanta suburb of Stone Mountain, featuring Georgia’s first-ever, built-to-suit household model.

Dementia Care Matters, a United Kingdom-based organization, is spearheading the operations, known as the Butterfly Household Model of Care. The year-long initiative encourages staff to become more emotionally intelligent and improve their skills as it relates specifically to memory care.

The new property and model are part of Park Springs, a continuing care retirement community. Isakson Living, a Geogia-based owner-operator, manages the community.
