UPPER ST. CLAIR, Penn. — Lifespace Communities, an Iowa-based operator, has named Bryan Welty as executive director of Friendship Village of South Hills, a continuing care retirement community in the Pittsburgh suburb of Upper St. Clair.
Welty, a Pittsburgh native, graduated from Robert Morris University. He has previously served as director of food and beverage operations at the Pittsburgh International Airport, and most recently as general manager of the Crowne Plaza Hotel Pittsburgh South and the Sheraton Hotel Pittsburgh Airport.
Lifespace Communities owns and operates 12 senior living communities in seven states.
