BRICK, N.J. — Marquis Health Services has completed the $2.8 million repositioning of Willow Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Brick.

Marquis purchased the property, formerly known as Burnt Tavern Nursing Center, in 2014. The company spent nine months on the renovations.

Willow Springs includes 148 skilled nursing beds. The renovations expanded the property’s sub-acute rehabilitation wing, adding 13 private suites. Other changes include a 3,000-square-foot expansion to the property’s rehabilitation therapy gym, along with long-term care and secured geriatric neighborhoods.

Marquis also updated common areas and patient rooms, and installed touch-screen kiosks throughout the center to provide enhanced clinical tracking tools for staff.

Marquis Health Services is the healthcare affiliate of Brick-based private equity investment group Tryko Partners. The company owns and operates 15 facilities.
