IRVINE, Calf. — MBK Real Estate Cos. has hired Jeff Fischer as president of the company’s senior living division, MBK Senior Living. In his new role, Fischer lead MBK Senior Living’s strategic operations plans, team building and leadership, as well as drive division’s ongoing growth.
Fischer has 22 years of experience in the industry, most recently as executive vice president with Steadfast Cos., where he was responsible for growing the seniors housing platform. He also spent eight years in various management capacities with Sunrise Senior Living.
Fischer holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance and management from the University of South Florida. He has served on the board of directors for the Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA) state affiliates in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina, as well as participated in several ALFA Executive Round Tables.
Based in Irvine, MBK Real Estate LLC is the U.S. real estate development arm of Mitsui & Co. Through its two subsidiaries, MBK Homes and MBK Senior Living, the company develops new home communities and apartments.
