GEORGETOWN, Texas — Dallas-based MedCore Partners and Houston-based The National Realty Group (TNRG) have acquired 13.8 acres in the Austin suburb of Georgetown, with plans to build a 314-unit independent living, assisted living and memory care community on the property.

Located at the southern entrance of the Sun City master-planned community, the development will be built in two phases. The first phase, scheduled to open in August 2020, will include 125 independent living units, 80 assisted living units and 24 memory care units.

Integral Senior Living will manage the community. Design for the project will be completed in January 2019, with construction to begin immediately thereafter.

Dallas-based REES Architects is designing the project, with interior design services provided by Austin-based StudioSix5.

The project is the third Texas-based senior living development for TNRG and MedCore Senior Living. They have collaborated on two Houston-area senior communities in Cypress and Atascocita.
