New Georgia Senior Living Residence to Break Ground in Spring

BRASELTON, Ga. — Canopy Lifestyles and Campus Realty Advisors are preparing to break ground on a new senior living residence to be developed in Braselton.  The residence will offer independent living, assisted living and memory care services.

The location is adjacent to the new campus of the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton and less than a mile from Chateau Elan. The senior living residence is scheduled to open in early 2016.

Canopy Lifestyles is a senior living development and management company, which joins with Campus Realty to expand its development and capital resources and build a portfolio of senior housing communities around the Southeast.

For the Braselton senior living residence, Canopy projects creation of 50 new full-time jobs. Canopy and Campus Realty will partner with the local owner of the property in the development.

The residence will feature 80 residential apartments, with 50 one- and two-bedroom assisted living apartments ranging in size from 580 to 820 square feet. The signature memory care neighborhood, named the Township, will feature 30 private occupancy studio apartments. Metro Atlanta senior living architect, Robert Fouse, will drive the design of the new residence.
