ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC) has appointed Mary Ann Donaghy as its new chief marketing and communications officer.
Based in Annapolis, NIC is a nonprofit association providing data and analytics on the seniors housing industry.
In her new role, Donaghy will be responsible for continuing to build the NIC brand, supporting NIC’s two annual conferences, growing the NIC MAP Data Service marketing and sales efforts, and increasing the awareness and impact of NIC’s industry outreach.
Donaghy brings more than 25 years of integrated consumer and business-to-business marketing experience to NIC. Her most recent role was vice president of marketing at University of Maryland University College (UMUC), one of the nation’s largest public universities with nearly 90,000 students.
Donaghy also held senior positions with The Bozzuto Group, a real estate development, management and construction company, as well as AOL and H.J. Heinz.
