by Jeff Shaw

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — OZ Architecture has completed design of The Lodge at Grand Junction, a 48-unit assisted living and memory care community in Grand Junction, located in the western part of the state near the Utah border.

WellAge and Rocky Mountain Senior Housing are developing the community and have already started construction. When completed, the 38,700-square-foot property will offer 36 units of assisted living and 12 units of memory care.

The two-story building site is located across the street from St. Mary’s Medical Center. The project is slated to open in summer 2019.

Shaw Construction is the general contractor on the project; Bow River Capital Partners teamed with Pacifica Capital Investments and Rocky Mountain Senior Housing as an equity partner. Bank of Colorado Glenwood Springs provided financing.
