Perkins Eastman Opens Community for Veterans in Arkansas

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Design and architecture firm Perkins Eastman has opened the doors on Arkansas State Veterans Home, a seniors housing community for military veterans in North Little Rock.

The firm worked on the project alongside the Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs (ADVA). The community offers a series of Community Living Centers, offering skilled nursing, rehabilitation and memory care, on a 31-acre campus.

Each of the eight Community Living Center is based on the “small house” model, with 12 private bedrooms and bathrooms centered around a shared kitchen, living room, study and dining room.
