KIRKWOOD, Mo. — Presbyterian Manor of Mid-America has announced a planned expansion and redevelopment at Aberdeen Heights, a 20-acre continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in the St. Louis suburb of Kirkwood.

The project will add a 54-unit independent living building known as The Brightons. The project also will add 16 skilled nursing suites, 18 memory care suites and a new chapel, in addition to renovations to existing dining venues and amenities in common areas.

The new units will add to Aberdeen Heights’ existing 234 independent living units. A construction timeline and cost estimate have not yet been determined.

Presbyterian Manor of Mid-America is a nonprofit, faith-based owner and operator of 17 seniors housing communities and two hospice organizations in Missouri and Kansas. The organization serves more than 2,500 residents.
