PARIS — Michel Landel, the CEO and chairman of the executive committee of Sodexo, has announced his plans to retire in January 2018.
Sodexo is a Paris-based provider of “quality of life services,” which include food and on-site services for seniors housing communities in the United States.
Denis Machuel, who currently serves as the company’s CEO of benefits and reward services and personal home services, will replace Landel. He will begin working in September as deputy CEO, so Landel may assist with the transition.
Landel will remain on the company’s board of directors for the duration of his term, ending January 2020.
