AUSTIN, Texas — Austin-based developer W2 Real Estate Partners and its joint venture senior housing partner Bridgewood Property Co. have revealed plans for The Village at the Triangle, a 206-unit seniors housing community within the Triangle mixed-use development in Austin.

The community will be located on a 1.5-acre site within the larger 30-acre development. It will feature seven floors of independent living, assisted living and memory care apartments above a two-story garage. Units will average 882 square feet, with luxury two-bedroom suites reaching over 1,300 square feet.

The Triangle was conceived in 2004 and currently features more than 750 apartments, 120,000 square feet of retail and commercial space, and a rehab hospital all surrounding a 3-acre park and pond.

The developers plan to break ground on The Village in August for scheduled completion in early 2018. Harvey Cleary Builders has been selected as the general contractor and Stantec (formerly Bury) as the civil engineer.
