AIKEN, S.C. — Westminster Development has broken ground on Westminster Memory Care of Aiken, a 48-unit memory care community.
The luxury community will be located in Aiken, just across the state border from August, Ga. The property is scheduled for completion in late spring 2019.
Westminster Memory Care of Aiken will be the first memory-care-only-community in Aiken, according to the developer. The community will consist of a two-pod neighborhood, each with its own dining and activity space to help foster the feeling of home.
Charter Senior Living will operate the community upon completion. Other partners on the project include Allen+Batchelor construction of Augusta, Ga. and AE Perspectives of Kennesaw, Ga.
