BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Somerby Senior Living has hired longtime operations veteran David Grady as the company’s new president and chief operating officer.
Grady has more than 30 years’ experience as an activities director, administrator and regional vice president with various skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers. He has also served as executive director, regional director of operations and divisional vice president at assisted living communities and CCRCs.
Grady holds a bachelor’s degree in Bible and religion from Harding University and a master’s degree in healthcare administration, with an emphasis in long-term care and senior housing, from the University of St. Francis. He received his doctorate from Trinity Theological Seminary
Somerby Senior Living operates eight seniors housing communities throughout the southeast. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dominion Partners, a Birmingham-based developer.
