SAN DIEGO — Newmark Knight Frank (NKF), a commercial real estate advisory firm, has added Rob Black and Sean McNee as senior managing directors. McNee and Black both specialize in seniors housing and care.
Black comes to NKF from Cushman & Wakefield where he worked exclusively in the seniors housing industry. He has 21 years of commercial real estate experience.
McNee has dedicated his entire 17-year career to seniors housing and offers experience on both the dispositions and operations side of the industry. McNee has been a leader at dedicated seniors housing brokerage teams at Eastdill Secured, Grubb & Ellis, and most recently at Cushman & Wakefield. He has been involved with over $2 billion in seniors housing transactions.
“There is no better time for NKF to build upon its burgeoning health care practice. With the graying of America this niche has become, along with technology, a growth area in real estate,” says James Kuhn, president of NKF. “Rob and Sean have built strong reputations in this area and their expertise is a solid addition to the work of Todd Perman and Garth Hogan, who specialize in hospital and medical office buildings.”
NKF is a part of BGC Partners (NASDAQ: BGCP), a global brokerage company servicing the financial and real estate markets.
