ESTERO, Fla., and CARY, N.C. — Kaufman Lynn Construction has expanded its office in Estero and opened a new office in Cary.
Based in Boca Raton, Fla., Kaufman Lynn is a general contractor serving the multifamily, senior living, country club, education, municipal, healthcare, faith-based, retail and commercial industries.
Concurrent with the new offices, Kaufman Lynn also made a series of hires and promotions.
Tom Thrasher was named vice president of operations in Kaufman Lynn’s South Florida headquarters. Thrasher is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating project administrative and field activities including timeliness and budget considerations.
Jeff Blong was named vice president of preconstruction in the company’s South Florida headquarters. Blong is responsible for the daily management, supervision, coordination and successful completion of the preconstruction phase of projects to meet cost objectives with respect to contracting, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and bidding of all major projects.
Derek Wolfhope and Dan Root were both promoted to the position of vice presidents of operations. Rot oversees the company’s Estero office and Wolfhope is a 10-year veteran of the company.
The company has also named Bryan Ardner as vice president of preconstruction to lead Kaufman Lynn Construction’s new Cary office.
