SEATTLE — Zenith Capital has hired Anthony Hemstad as the Seattle-based lender’s new managing director.
Hemstad’s served the previous six years as president of World Trade Centers in San Francisco and Tacoma. Hemstad formerly spent about 15 years abroad, including running his own market-leading public affairs firm in four Central European countries for a decade.
Hemstad started his career as an aide to three U.S. senators in Washington, D.C., where he covered international trade among other topics. He also spent over five years as Maple Valley’s city manager. He holds degrees from the universities of Chicago (MBA), London (MA) and Puget Sound (BA).
Zenith Capital specializes in providing funding for the seniors housing industry. It has raised over $1 billion in mezzanine finance domestically.
