ST. LOUIS — Ascension, a St. Louis-based senior living and healthcare provider, has appointed Daniel “Danny” Stricker to lead the company’s new skilled nursing division, Ascension Post-Acute Services.
In his new role, Stricker will provide strategic and operational leadership over Ascension’s diversified post-acute services, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, short-term rehab and PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly). In addition, he will assume responsibility for the home health, hospice, palliative care, home infusion and home medical equipment service lines.
Stricker most recently served as chief operating officer for the seniors housing division, Ascension Living, where he directed operational and clinical integration of post-acute services. Prior to that, he served as regional chief executive officer for Ascension Healthcare’s Carondelet Long-Term Care Facilities in Kansas City. Upon the formation of Ascension Living in 2014, he served as the vice president of strategy and business development.
Stricker, who grew up in the St. Louis area, received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in management from William Jewell College and a master’s degree in health administration from Lindenwood University. He is a graduate of the Ascension Executive Ministry Leadership formation program.
