The communities include Belle Reve Senior Living in Milford, Pennsylvania; Heritage Hill Senior Community in Weatherly, Pennsylvania; Cardinal Village in Sewell, New Jersey; and Viva Senior Living at Cross Keys in Glassboro, New Jersey. Logos Living Capital, along with affiliates, acquired the properties and engaged Viva to serve as the operator. New Jersey-based Viva’s management portfolio comprises 40 senior living communities across the East, Southeast and Midwest.
LEXINGTON, S.C. — Senior Living Investment Brokerage has arranged the sale of Westminster Memory Care, a 48-unit memory care community located in Lexington, roughly 20 miles west of Columbia, the state capital. Built in 2020, the community is situated on roughly 6.3 acres, with space for future expansion. Trinity Investors sold the property to a Southeast-based owner and operator for an undisclosed price. Daniel Geraghty and Bradley Clousing of SLIB brokered the transaction on behalf of the seller.
LYNN, Mass. — 2Life Communities has broken ground on a new affordable seniors housing development in Lynn, roughly 13 miles northeast of downtown Boston. Upon completion, the project, Solimine House, will total 150 apartments reserved for residents age 62 and older earning up to 60 percent of the area median income. ALBANY, Ga. — Lockwood Cos. has broken ground on a new affordable seniors housing community in Albany, a city in southwest Georgia. Upon completion, Dogwood Trail Apartments II will feature 20 one-bedroom apartments and 20 two-bedroom apartments. Units will be reserved for residents age 55 and older earning at or below 30, 50, 60 and 70 percent of the area median income. This project marks the second phase of a master planned redevelopment of the area. Completion of construction is scheduled for winter 2027.
CARLSBAD, Calif. — Sunny Hills Management Co. has acquired Laguna Estates Senior Living, a 168-unit seniors housing property located in Carlsbad, an affluent coastal city in southern California. The seller and sales price were not disclosed. Laguna Estates features a mix of assisted living and memory care units across four buildings.
