WALTHAM, Mass. — Benchmark has hired two new employees to assist with organizational development as part of the company’s goal to be a sought-after employer in the industry.
Cheryl Ramsey was hired as senior director of associate experience and organizational development, while Jennifer Crotty was appointed director of organizational development. The two hires will seek to attract and retain people who share Benchmark’s values and are committed to serving residents, families and fellow associates.
Ramsey has over 20 years of experience in leadership and organizational development in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Benchmark, she was a corporate consultant focusing on leadership return on investment and, before that, was director of leadership development for Maine Medical Center.
Ramsey holds a bachelor’s degree in social organizations and human relations and sociology from the University of Western Ontario; two master’s degrees, one in organizational management and development and one in human development, from Fielding Graduate University; and a doctorate in human and organizational systems.
Crotty joins Benchmark after 17 years at an investment firm and doing volunteer work for Alpha Chi Omega, a sorority dedicated to female empowerment.
Crotty earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in sports management and a master’s degree in leadership from Gonzaga University. She currently is completing a doctorate of education in leadership at Northeastern University.
Based in Waltham, Benchmark is an owner-operator of 56 seniors housing communities throughout the Northeast.
