NEW YORK CITY — BHI, a full-service commercial bank based in New York City, has appointed Andrea Kantor as head of healthcare and not-for-profit.
Kantor will oversee a team of specialized professionals delivering financing and banking solutions to BHI clients in the seniors housing sector, as well as lead the practice in expanding to other healthcare-related areas. She will also develop BHI’s line of business targeting nonprofit clients such as those within the social service organizations, schools, cultural institutions and charities sectors.
Kantor has more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry, including over 10 in leadership roles focusing on healthcare and nonprofit clients. She has worked closely with senior management on philanthropic priorities.
Most recently, Kantor served as senior vice president and group head for healthcare, education and not-for-profit banking at IDB Bank. She also held the position of area manager for government and not-for-profit business banking and led the healthcare and not-for-profit credit team at JP Morgan Chase.
Kantor earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Tufts University.
