WINTERS, Calif. — Alliant Capital has completed an investment in Blue Mountain Terrace, a 63-unit affordable seniors housing development in Winters, a rural city approximately 25 miles west of Sacramento. Domus is developing the community, which will serve those age 62 and older earning between 25 and 60 percent of the area median income. HAMMOND, La. — Phoenix Senior Living has unveiled plans for The Phoenix at Hammond, a 91-unit assisted living and memory care community in the New Orleans suburb of Hammond. First Guaranty Bank is the lending partner for the project. Groundbreaking is scheduled to take place before the end of January. Phoenix Senior Living, founded in 2014, operates 26 communities throughout the Southeast. The Phoenix at Hammond will be the company’s second community in Louisiana.

SPRING, Texas — Frontier Management has broken ground on The Landing at Augusta Woods, a 120-unit seniors housing community in Spring, a northern suburb of Houston. The property, which will include 75 units for independent living and 45 assisted living units, is set to open in early 2021. The project team includes general contractor Regent Construction, architect Jeffrey DeMure & Associates and construction lender UCB. Frontier Management will operate Landing at Augusta Woods, joining the more than 100 seniors housing communities in its management portfolio.

LITTLETON, Colo. — Resort Lifestyle Communities has opened Sky Pointe, an independent living community in the Denver suburb of Littleton. Sky Pointe offers 128 apartments for rent in studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom options. “From our research, we found that Denver’s metro was in great need of additional independent senior living options,” says Phil Benjamson, COO of Resort Lifestyle Communities. NOVATO, Calif. — Oakmont Senior Living has opened an information center at Oakmont of Novato, a seniors housing community currently under construction in Novato, approximately 30 miles north of San Francisco. The community will total 72,614 square feet on a three-acre plot, and feature 49 units of assisted living and 36 units of memory care. Construction is slated for completion in spring 2020.
