CARTERSVILLE, Ga. — American Lending Center (ALC), an EB-5 regional center, has opened The Fountains in Cartersville, an assisted living and memory care community in Cartersville. Located approximately 45 miles northwest of Atlanta, this project marks ALC’s first investment in the state of Georgia. Further details on the size of the project were not released.

Desert Land, Civitas Senior Living Break Ground on Luxury Community in Flagstaff, Arizona
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Arizona real estate developer Desert Land Group and Texas-based senior living management company Civitas Senior Living have started construction on their newest senior living boutique project, The Bluffs of Flagstaff. Totaling approximately 210,572 square feet, the community will feature 120 independent living, 66 assisted living and 18 memory care apartments. The Bluffs of Flagstaff is scheduled for completion in fall 2021. The architect for the project is Kaas Wilson, with Greenberg Construction as general contractor. Senior By Design is providing additional design services.
MESA, Ariz. — Alliant Capital and Dominium have unveiled plans for Solstice of Mesa, an affordable seniors housing community in Mesa. All 237 units will be reserved for those over age 55 and earning up to 60 percent of area median income. Development is slated for completion in October 2021.
Capitol Seniors Housing Completes New Clubhouse, Residences at Active Adult Community in New Jersey
CINNAMINSON TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Capitol Seniors Housing has completed construction of a new clubhouse and two of the remaining five residential buildings at Siena, an active adult community in Cinnaminson Township, a suburb of Philadelphia. Located on 15 acres, the community will feature 204 units upon full build-out. Capitol Seniors Housing acquired Siena in 2018. The owner is currently working to complete the community’s master plan that will total 12 buildings. The new residences range from 1,114 to 1,873 square feet. Cove Property Management operates the community.
JERICHO, N.Y. — Engel Burman has opened Encore Luxury Living, a seniors housing community in the Long Island hamlet of Jericho. The property offers active adult living, with rents starting at $8,400 per month. Housekeeping and maintenance are included in the rent. The location is across the street from a library and a Whole Foods-anchored shopping center. The community features 59 one-bedroom units, 42 two-bedroom units and one three-bedroom unit. The assisted living and skilled nursing services will be offered on the first floor, with independent living on the second floor. A separate area named Legacy Lane will provide memory care services. The project, designed by D2 Architecture, features two 12-story towers that include 189 independent living residences, 38 assisted living residences, 48 nursing apartments and 26 memory care residences. TYSONS, Va. — Mather has completed land acquisition for its previously announced The Mather continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Tysons, approximately 13 miles west of Washington, D.C. The developer plans to start sitework in 2020 with the first phase of construction scheduled to open in 2023. Entitlements were approved in June.
