LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Trilogy Health Services has announced an investment plan to develop and expand senior living and assisted living services in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio.  The investment aims to help address the growing demand for senior living accommodations and services. LYNCHBURG, Va. — LifeSpire of Virginia has announced plans for an $80 million expansion of The Summit, a continuing care retirement community in Lynchburg. Although the number of units was not disclosed, the company says the project will “create dozens of new residences” via 18 cottage homes and multiple villa options, as well as a new memory care neighborhood. DALEVILLE, Va. — LifeSpire of Virginia has broken ground on a $25 million expansion project at The Glebe, a continuing care retirement community in the Roanoke suburb of Daleville. ORANGE, Calif. — USA Properties Fund and Riverside Charitable Corp. have started construction of The Orion, an affordable seniors housing community in Orange. The Orion will offer 166 affordable one- and two-bedroom apartments with energy-efficient appliances, lighting insulations and windows, as well as low-flow faucets, shower and toilets. The project will combine upscale senior living, public-facing retail stores and healthcare on one campus. Upon completion, the community will feature 246 independent living units, ranging from studio size to three bedrooms; 82 assisted living apartments; and a new, 106-bed, state-of-the-art skilled nursing center. PITTSBURGH — Tryko Partners has opened Cedarwood Homes, a 46-unit affordable seniors housing community in Pittsburgh’s West End neighborhood.
