DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — Lifespace Communities has hired Patrick Noonan as executive director at Harbour’s Edge, a continuing care retirement community in Delray Beach.  Noonan has over 30 years’ experience leading senior living operations and managing healthcare administration, most recently serving as executive director at The Glenview at Pelican Bay in Naples.  Noonan earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Fontbonne University in St. Louis. He is also a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Florida and a Licensed Florida Community Association Manager.

FLORIDA and SOUTH CAROLINA — Sonida Senior Living Inc. (NYSE: SNDA), a Dallas-based owner, operator and investor, has agreed to acquire eight senior living communities in northern Florida and South Carolina. Totaling 555 units of assisted living and memory care, Sonida will pay $103 million for the portfolio. FORT MYERS, Fla. — Ziegler has arranged $150 million in bond financing for Shell Point Retirement Community, a nonprofit, faith-based continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Fort Myers. TAMPA, Fla. — Berkadia has arranged the sale of a four-property, 334-unit assisted living and memory care portfolio along Florida’s West Coast.  Brooks Minford of Berkadia Seniors Housing & Healthcare closed the transaction on behalf of two separate sellers. The buyer of all four properties, a Central Florida-based family office, paid $42.6 million for the acquisition. CLERMONT, OCOEE and OVIEDO, Fla. — Atlas Senior Living and affiliate company Salta Capital have acquired three senior living communities in the Orlando suburbs of Clermont, Ocoee and Oviedo.  The communities, which offer assisted living and memory care services, have consistently maintained high occupancy rates, according to Atlas. Atlas and Salta plan to implement a $1.5 million renovation plan across the properties. These capital improvements aim to enhance the living standards and amenities.

FOUR CORNERS, Fla. — Watermark Retirement Communities has named Dan Guanio as executive director of The Glades at ChampionsGate in Four Corners, located between Orlando and Tampa. The community offers independent living, assisted living and memory care. Guanio has more than 16 years of experience in senior living and has served as an executive director for most of his career. Opened in December 2018, Amavida offers independent living, assisted living and memory care on a 30-acre site.
