BOCA RATON, Fla. — The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County has received bond financing for a planned $160 million expansion at The Toby and Leon Cooperman Sinai Residences of Boca Raton, a 100-acre seniors housing campus in Boca Raton. Construction has already started on the project, which will add 111 independent living units and new communal areas. HJ Sims arranged the $135 million bond financing. POLK COUNTY, Fla. — Summit Contracting Group has broken ground on Siena Pointe, a seniors housing community in unincorporated northeast Polk County near Orlando. Siena Pointe will be a U-shaped, four-story, wood-frame building on a seven-acre site. The property will feature 163 units of seniors housing in a 194,127-square-foot building. Construction is slated for completion in fall 2021. The developer is Eastwind Development LLC and the architect is Forum Architecture & Interior Design Inc.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Inspired Living has started construction of Inspirations at the Town Center, the company’s first independent living community, in Jacksonville. Situated on 12.1 acres, the 227,000-square-foot building will feature a total of 169 apartments. Units will feature one- and two-bedroom options up to 1,200 square feet. The Inspired Living brand is the new independent living branch of Validus Senior Living Communities. Baxter Development is a partner on the project, which is scheduled for delivery in fall 2021.
