EPOCH Names Wendy Nollman as Executive Director of Waterstone at the Circle in Boston

BOSTON — EPOCH Senior Living has named Wendy Nollman as executive director of Waterstone at the Circle, a luxury senior living community in Boston. Nollman joins the team with more than 15 years of leadership experience in senior living throughout Massachusetts. In her new position, she will be responsible for all daily operations. Prior to joining the Waterstone at the Circle team, Nollman was executive director of communities in nearby Wayland and Watertown. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The University of Rhode Island.

MassDevelopment Provides $129M in Bond Financing for Opus Newton Project Near Boston

NEWTON, Mass. — MassDevelopment has provided $129 million in tax-exempt bond financing for the construction of Opus Newton, a 174-unit seniors housing project that will be located on the western outskirts of Boston. The borrower and developer is locally based nonprofit organization 2Life Communities. Construction began in March and is scheduled for completion in mid-2025. Opus Newton, an age-restricted complex with units reserved for renters age 62 and above, is being constructed on four acres at 777 Winchester St. The property will house 62 two-bedroom units and 112 one-bedroom apartments. …

KIRCO Acquires Brookmeadow at Blue Hills Value-Add Community in Stoughton, Massachusetts

STOUGHTON, Mass. — KIRCO has acquired Brookmeadow at Blue Hills, a 91-unit assisted living and memory care community in the Boston suburb of Stoughton. The community was built in 2009 and was acquired at 45 percent of replacement cost in a high-income, underserved market, according to KIRCO. Cushman & Wakefield negotiated both the sale and acquisition financing. STOUGHTON, Mass. — Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the sale of the Arbors of Stoughton, a 91-unit assisted living and memory care community in Stoughton, 20 miles south of downtown Boston. Habitech Acquisitions to Develop 141-Unit Active Adult Community in Stow, Massachusetts

STOW, Mass. — Massachusetts-based developer Habitech Acquisitions has acquired 37.3 acres in Stow, about 30 miles west of Boston, with plans to construct a 141-unit active adult community. Known as The Cottages at Wandering Pond, the project will feature a recreation area with walking trails, as well as a clubhouse, pool, activity lawn and a pickleball court. Jake Parsons of SVN | Parsons Commercial Group | Boston represented the seller, EFMC Associates, in the land deal and procured Habitech Acquisitions as the buyer.
