Chelsea Senior Living operates the 150,000-square-foot community. Formerly a Residence Inn by Marriott, Capitol Seniors Housing purchased the property and transformed the campus into seniors housing. RENSSELAER, N.Y. — Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors has arranged the sale of Rosewood Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Rensselaer, just across the Hudson River from Albany. Totaling 80 beds, the skilled nursing facility was originally developed in the mid-1970s. Prior to the marketing and sale process, the private ownership group completed capital investments including interior renovations, operational equipment upgrades and technological enhancements. NEW YORK CITY — Mortgage banking company Merchants Capital has closed a $51 million construction loan and a $28.4 million in Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) to fund an affordable housing project in Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
