NORWOOD, Mass. — Benchmark has hired Patrick Hardy as the new executive director at Benchmark Senior Living on Clapboardtree in Norwood, a suburb of Boston.

KENNETT SQUARE, Pa. — Judy Braun, chief operating officer of Kennett Square-based operator The Kendal Corp., has retired after 17 years in the position. The nonprofit company’s portfolio includes 13 communities in eight states throughout the Northeast and Midwest.

WALTHAM, Mass. — Benchmark, a Waltham-based owner-operator, has hired Bobbi Miller as regional director of operations. She will oversee operations of the company’s seven communities throughout Massachusetts.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Real Estate Roundtable (RER), a public policy organization that represents the interests of the real estate industry, has selected Debra Cafaro as its chair.

LOUISVILLE, Colo. — Balfour Senior Living, an owner-operator based in the Denver suburb of Louisville, has hired Phill Barklow as chief operating officer and Sara Thom as vice president of human resources.

WORCESTER, Mass. — Benchmark has appointed Jennifer LaCroix as executive director of Tatnuck Park at Worcester, an assisted living and memory care community in Worcester. LaCroix previously held the position from 2011 to 2013.

MORGANTON, N.C. — Carolinas HealthCare System Blue Ridge has hired Chris Romick as executive director of Grace Ridge Retirement Community, a continuing care retirement community in Morganton.
