WAXAHACHIE, Texas — National Health Investors Inc. (NYSE: NHI), a seniors housing and healthcare REIT, has acquired a 121-bed skilled nursing facility in the southern Dallas metro of Waxahachie for $14.4 million.

CASHMERE, Wash. — Senior Living Investment Brokerage has arranged the sale of Cashmere Convalescent Center, a 65-bed skilled nursing facility in Cashmere, located between Seattle and Spokane. The price was not disclosed.

IRVINE, Calif — Sabra Health Care REIT Inc. (NASDAQ: SBRA) has completed the previously announced sale of 20 facilities leased to Genesis Healthcare Inc. in Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana for $103.3 million.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors has arranged the sale of an undisclosed 119-bed skilled nursing facility in Nashville.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Occupancy for skilled nursing facilities throughout the United States hit a five year low in the third quarter of 2017, falling to 81.6 percent, according to data released today by the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC).
