NEW PROVIDENCE, N.J. — Erickson has opened the doors on Woodland Pointe, a 45-unit expansion at Lantern Hill, a continuing care retirement community in New Providence. The town is approximately 30 miles west of New York City.
The expansion includes 17 assisted living apartments, 28 memory care apartments and outpatient rehabilitation services for the community’s independent living residents. Later this year, Erickson will also open 40 new skilled nursing beds at the community.
The opening of Woodland Pointe completes Lantern Hill’s Phase I, which includes 161 independent living apartments and 85 continuing care residences. Phase II, currently under construction, is scheduled to open in early 2018 and includes two additional buildings. Phase II will add 114 independent living apartments to the community, for a total of 275 independent living apartment homes.
