JERICHO, N.Y. — HRSE-EB, a joint venture between Engel Burman Group and Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, has planned a new Bristal-branded assisted living and memory care community in the Long Island hamlet of Jericho.
The 336,000-square-foot community will feature 280 units, half for assisted living and half for memory care. Development costs are estimated at $125 million.
The Nassau County Industrial Development Agency is providing an economic development compact for the developers. As part of the deal, Engel Burman is also donating 8.5 acres of undeveloped land to the Town of Oyster Bay, which will permanently preserve the property.
This is one of many Bristal assisted living communities that Harrison Street and Engel Burman have partnered on, mostly located on Long Island and in the greater New York City area.
