MINNEAPOLIS — Health Dimensions Group (HDG), a post-acute, long-term care, and senior living consulting and management firm based in Minneapolis, has hired Michael Edwin as vice president of consulting services.
Edwin will advise senior living organizations throughout the aging services continuum in the areas of strategic planning, market research and growth strategy development.
Edwin brings 20 years of healthcare consulting experience to the position. He has worked with senior living, women’s religious congregations and nonprofit organizations throughout the country. His expertise includes strategic and business planning, market research and analysis, and growth strategy development. He also has experience conducting market studies and service needs assessments, consumer opinion demand research studies, and developing healthcare partnerships.
Prior to joining HDG, Edwin was a director of the senior living and healthcare practice at Wipfli, where he led a strategic planning and market analysis team that advised senior living and religious organizations on strategic decisions.
Edwin has published many articles addressing trends and issues in the senior care industry. He has also served in leadership roles for academic boards and professional associations focused on the senior care continuum, including board president of the Wisconsin Assisted Living Association and advisory board member of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Center for Health Administration and Aging Services Excellence.
Edwin earned a bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University-Mankato and an M.B.A. from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin. He is a member of the American Seniors Housing Association, Argentum, LeadingAge and the Resource Center for Religious Institutes.
